Overview

Looking for a candidate to provide software development support.  Develop solutions for mission problems using open source and GOTS tools.  Develop new features and improve existing functionality developed in Java/C++, PHP, JavaScript, AJAX, and Apache Tomcat.  Develop all applications according to the organization’s coding standards and within the organization’s frameworks utilizing PKI, database, web development, and application security.  Provide documentation and training for all components as needed.  Use sound software engineering principals to ensure that all developed software is modifiable, efficient, reliable, understandable, and fault tolerant.

Responsibilities

Looking for a candidate with:

3 years experience with Java/C++

3 years experience with Oject Oriented Programming

 

The following skills are desired but NOT mandatory:

  • Experience with HTML, CSS, LAMP (Linux, Apache, MySQL, PHP), Elgg Content Management System
  • Experience with JavaScript, JQuery, EXT JS, or any other JavaScript framework
  • Experience with one or more PHP development frameworks (e.g. CakePHP, Laravel, Zend)
  • Experience with SQL databases such as My SQL
  • Experience with Elasticsearch and/or Kibana
  • Experience with DevOps techniques and tools including continuous integration and deployment
  • Experience translating analytic needs into functional code
  • Experience working in an Agile environment

Qualifications

A TS/SCI security clearance with polygraph.
