    ***OPEN TO ALL SKILL LEVELS*** The Application Developer (1.0 FTE) will provide programming and technical support to the Meridian/Skillsoft Program Manager for planning, coordination, and scheduling, implementation, maintenance and update of the DDIU Learning Management System (LMS). The Application Developer will perform required LMS customization's and serve as a key point of contact with service centers to achieve LMS compliance, functionality and schedule goals.

    Responsibilities

    Mandatory Skills:
    1. Demonstrated technical experience developing and/or maintaining Meridian Global Learning Management system software and documenting application and system architectures.

    2. Upgrading and maintaining events in reports and system logs.

    3. Documenting system and application management policies and procedures


    Optional Skills:
    1. Demonstrated experience or familiarity with SkillsoftTM Learning Management System (LMS).

    2. Demonstrated experience or training with Cloud environments, technologies and configurations.

    3. Demonstrated experience performing help-desk and Tier 2 response/troubleshooting; coordinating with Tier 3 level support.

    4. Demonstrated experience configuring LMS interfaces and applications.

    5. Demonstrated experience scheduling and coordinating application upgrades and routine application/system maintenance.

    6. Demonstrated experience preparing and uploading courses to the LMS; maintaining user accounts, course records and access logs.

    7. Maintaining course information to facilitate discovery and the implementation of learning support features (e.g. learning pathways)
