    The Sponsor is looking for a Cyber Security Project Engineer to provide assistance to cyber security projects within the Sponsors organization. The Cyber Security Project Engineers may have multiple projects they support and administer and will work closely with the Sponsors task manager to ensure all program and project milestones are met following all approved processes and procedures with appropriate levels of documentation. The Project Engineer shall oversee and assist in coordinating activities related to engineering activities in order to successfully complete project activities within a reasonable amount of time. The Cyber Security Project Engineer will also communicate and present project status to a variety of audiences and forums as required. This includes preparing updates to program plans and other documentation on a regular basis. The Sponsors organization provides technical services in the following areas Desktop Hardware Workstations, Printers, Multi-Function Devices, Monitors, Desktop peripherals, large displays, webcams, and a variety of other hardware devices. Video/Audio Desktop VTC, Integrated Audio/Video Conference Room Setups (cameras, speakers, A/V switches, control panels, etc.), Multi-VTC Integrated Room Setups. Duties/Tasks and Responsibilities Oversees and assists the responsible engineer in maintaining appropriate levels of documentation agreed as part of an overall requirement for each individual project, including operations and maintenance information, analyst operations guides, design documents and overall concept of operations. The Systems Engineers, Analysts, and others supply the descriptions and/or technical data for the documentation with that knowledge as required. Ensure all program activities maintain system baselines and configuration management items, including security event monitoring policies in a manner determined and agreed to by the Sponsors management. Ensure changes are made using an approval process. Coordinate, schedule, and support all meetings as directed by the Contractor Program Manager. The Project Engineer is also responsible for assisting the staff management with all data calls to satisfy Front Office Action Items and other reporting items as requested.

    Responsibilities

    Mandatory Skills:
    1. Demonstrated experience in IT best practices regarding application, enterprise system, and network security.

     

    2. Demonstrated experience in identifying and managing risk in an enterprise environment.

     

    3. Ability to identify new technologies and assess their technical performance.

     


    Optional Skills:
    1. Bachelors Degree in computer science, mathematics, computer engineering, or other closely related IT and Cyber Security discipline or equivalent work experience.

     

    2. Demonstrated experience with IT Network infrastructure.

     

    3. Demonstrated experience with enterprise networks and systems.

     

    4. Demonstrated experience with the Sponsors A&A process.

     

    5. Demonstrated experience with the Sponsors Project Management Framework.

     

    6. Demonstrated experience organizing, planning and prioritizing multiple tasks so that work is completed on schedule.

     

    7. Ability to communicate complex technical concepts and project information clearly and concisely to both technical and non-technical audiences.

     

    8. Demonstrated ability to write technical documents addressing complex and sensitive issues.

     

    9. Demonstrated experience with writing, communications and briefing skills.

     

    10. Demonstrated experience with Desktop Hardware; Workstations, Printers, Multi-Function Devices, Monitors, Desktop peripherals, large displays, webcams, and a variety of other hardware device.

     

    11. Demonstrated experience with Video/Audio; Desktop VTC, Integrated Audio/Video Conference Room
    Setups (cameras, speakers, A/V switches, control panels, etc.), Multi-VTC Integrated Room Setups.

     

    12. Demonstrated experience with Voice Networks VOIP, Analog, and Digital implementations.

     

    13. Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP) certification.
