    ******* OPEN TO ALL SKILL LEVELS****** * Develop and implement Web applications and/or web services using object-oriented programming * Understanding of application software development life cycle within the Agile development best practices. * Detailed understanding of current and future technology trends * Work both independently and in a team environment * Troubleshoot and problem solve both technical and non-technical issues


    Mandatory Skills:

    1. Demonstrated experience managing or performing software engineering activities, demonstrated experience working with SQL, and third/fourth generation languages in the design and implementation of systems and using database management systems


    2. Demonstrated history showing increasing responsibilities in software development activities


    3. Demonstrated experience developing Services-Oriented Applications/Web services (SOAP/REST)


    4. Demonstrated experience in programming with Javascript and web development (CSS, HTML, Angular JS)


    5. Demonstrated experience with Java 7 or 8


    6. Demonstrated experience with MySQL or Solr

    Optional Skills:

    1. Familiarity with the customers messaging system or other messaging systems


    2. Demonstrated experience with web-based rich text editors


    3. Experience with JAVA IDE (e.g. Eclipse/NetBeans)


    4. Dev Ops Experience (e.g. GIT, Jenkins, Maven/Gradle)


    5. Demonstrated understanding of application software development within the sponsors organization


    6. Software Engineering or experience that would provide equivalent knowledge


    7. Demonstrated experience with agile development methodologies and test driven development


    8. Demonstrated communication and collaboration abilities in a multi-discipline environment
