  • Overview

    The Sponsor is looking for a motivated Cloud Engineer (SE) to join this mission critical office. This high visibility office is in need of a self-starter who will work hand-in-hand with both the team and customer. The candidate will work with a medium of teams with Subject Matter Experts, Data Architects, and IT counterparts to develop this solution. She/he will work with technology, such as Amazon Web Services, DEVOPS, test defined development, and web services. The persons need to be able to get up and running quickly and be able to assist with moving applications to the cloud.


    1.  Demonstrated knowledge and real work experience in creating and configuring virtual private clouds (VPCs) and creating EC2 instances.

    2. Demonstrated knowledge real work experience of creating public and private subnets and Creating auto scaling groups.

    3. Demonstrated knowledge and real work experience of configuring load balancers.

    4. Demonstrated knowledge of configuring security groups.

    5. Demonstrated knowledge of creating users and groups using AWS IdAM.

    6. Demonstrated knowledge and real work experience of maintaining Unix/Linux systems.

    7. Demonstrated knowledge and real work experience of evaluating systems and making recommendations to increase availability and efficiency.

    8. Demonstrated knowledge of coding within AWS environments.
    Optional Skills:
    1. Demonstrated experience with Java development Technology used in this occupation.

    2. Demonstrated experience with Java.

    3. Demonstrated experience with REST Queries and Services.

    4. Demonstrated experience with SQL databases.

    5. Demonstrated experience with NoSQL databases.

    6. Demonstrated experience with TCP/IP LAN/WAN networking.

    7. Any AWS Certification.


    A TS/SCI security clearance with polygraph.
